The initial application for Citizen’s Income is the main form for applying for Citizen’s Income (financial support to cover basic needs, including housing costs, health insurance, and other necessary expenses). This is Unemployment Benefit II (ALG II), which is granted to people who do not have sufficient income to support themselves.

Anyone applying for Citizen’s Income for the first time must complete this application. It is important to provide complete information about yourself and all members of the community of need, including income, assets, and expenses. Citizen’s Income is paid from the date of application, not retroactively, so early application is important.

The following attachments are mandatory:

Depending on your personal situation and answers in the HA, further attachments may be required. These are automatically added to the list of forms to be completed.
